Born in 1978 in Valnesfjord, a small suburb to Bodø, Kriss discovered that he had talents within the musical
realm at the age of 7, when introduced to his fathers 12-string guitar. After quickly learning the basic chords,
Kriss decided to put together a band. And so he did. Gathering several of his classmates, he formed various
constellations. And so the snowball began rolling. In elementary school, he joined the school band, playing the
cornette for 5 years, and in 1993 he participated in forming a project with a few friends from the 'hood,
primarily focusing on technological music.
In '94, Kriss joined a "danseband", playing synth on various cover versions of old Rock 'n Roll classics.
And a couple of years later, just to continue the habit, he joined another one, Snoopy, in which he plays to this day.
In '95 he played guitar with a collaboration between the local choir and Terje Nilsen, a local Singer/Songwriter,
playing various versions of Nilsens songs. In 1997, Kriss applied for Toneheim Folkehøgskole, one of the
country's most acclaimed Folk high schools, with song as his primary instrument. This year was without a doubt
one of the most rewarding years in his life, musicwise.

Upon returning to the north of Norway, Kriss joined Precautious Wendy, a pop/funk band in which he played
until 2001. He also participated in various side projects with many of the great musicians of Bodø. In 2001,
he headed up the in house band of the Student review, in which he met Stian Fjelldal. This review was the
foundation of Minus Mike, a pop band which released an EP, a single and a music video which played for some time
on national TV.
In 2002, Kriss Joined Arvid Nilsens band, playing organ and keys on a genuine Rock 'n Roll-project. An EP was
recorded, which received international acclaim from press, as well as great stars like f. ex. Jackson Browne. In
2003, Kriss was recruited for the role of Tony in a local production of Bernsteins masterpiece, West Side Story.
Apart from having a minor role (as a tree or something) in children's theatre at the age of 7, this was the first
he had done with respects to acting. The play was seen by thousands, and received good critics from the local press.
Following to of his fellow musicians of Minus Mike, Kriss moved to Trondheim mid 2003, where, due to the great
lenghts between Bodø, where the drummer resided, and Trondheim, where the rest of the band lived, Minus Mike had
to be terminated. In stead, a new band arose. Moorehead is his main project in Trondheim right now, and is hoped
to reach far (but never as far as MetroGnoM....)
Kriss still lives in Trondheim, and commutes for gigs with bands like MetroGnoM every now and then.
